Centro Castillo is a private group practice of bilingual and bicultural Spanish-Speaking therapists.  We aim to provide a safe and comfortable setting for people of color to feel understood, unjudged, and supported in their personal and family work to heal and prosper.  Equally as important is to provide the same level of care to our staff to help them develop their clinical skills through supervision and teamwork.  Allowing professionals to be part of a center that is community based at heart in a private sector setting. With 3 site locations throughout the city, one is never too far from your own community.


Licensed Clinicians Position:

Seeking Full or Part Time Licensed Clinician (PsyD, PhD, LCSW, LCPC, LMFT). Spanish-speaking is preferred.  
Income Potential: $70,000 – $100,000 (dependent on weekly billing hours and eligible for an increase over time)
Start Date: Immediate opening

Postdoctoral and Prelicensure Master level Positions- Full Time only
We have three openings for license eligible Spanish-speaking LPC, MSW, and Post-Doc professionals looking to obtain their clinical training hours toward license.

Salary: $40,000
Start Date: Rolling admission, with an immediate opening currently available.


Requirements/Expectations:
Spanish speaking preferred and knowledgeable of Latino culture
Prelicensure positions are only full-time and Spanish speaking is required
Maintain caseload of 15-17 (part time) or 30-35 (full time) clients per week
Billable hours MUST include 2 evenings and weekend hours or 3 full evenings and no weekend required.
Optional opportunity: Psychological Testing and Immigration Evaluations

Administrative-Credentialing Assistant

Full-Time

Centro Castillo is an established mental health group practice looking to hire an administrative assistant who will be responsible for the staff credentialing.  Credentialing work is 50% of the job while the other 50% is encompassed with varied administrative duties.  We’re looking for an energetic professional who can multi-task and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Primary Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Process therapist’s accreditation, managed care, governmental & commercial insurance credentialing and re-credentialing.
  • Inputs & updates provider credential databases of CAQH, PECOS, & NPPES
  • Credentialing of clinical staff with health insurance plans
  • Verifying insurance benefits.
  • Assists with marketing and public relations
  • Completes provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications; monitors applications and follows-up as needed
  • Maintains knowledge of current health plan and agency requirements for credentialing providers.
  • Audits health plan directories for current and accurate provider information.
  • Updates therapist’s information in hospital information systems, respond to verification requests, and perform file audit.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative role at a healthcare practice (medical, dental, psychology)
  • Knowledge of commercial healthcare insurance or government contracts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A minimum of 2 years Credentialing experience in a medical office
  • Experience getting providers paneled with insurance companies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Quicken/QuickBooks
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Spanish preferred
  • Strong organization and leadership skills
