We currently have Therapist and Administrative Assistant Openings 

Seeking Full or Part Time Licensed Clinician, Spanish-speaking preferred (Psy.D., Ph.D., LCSW, LCPC)

We also have two openings for license eligible Spanish-speaking LPC or Postdoctoral professionals looking to obtain their clinical training hours toward licensure. 

Centro Castillo for Personal and Family Wellbeing is an established and respected Bilingual outpatient behavioral health group practice with openings in all three locations (Oak Park/Chicago boarder, Lakeview neighborhood, and Pilsen). The practice primarily serves Spanish and English speaking adolescents, adults, and families.

Requirements/Expectations:

  • Spanish speaking and knowledgeable of Latino culture (preferred)
  • Clinical focus of adolescents, adults, couples, families.
  • Maintain minimum caseload of 15 (part time) or 25 (full time) clients per week
  • Billable hours include 2 evenings and a weekend day or 3 evenings and no weekend required.
  • Optional opportunity: Psychological Testing and Immigration Evaluation

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Full-Time

Centro Castillo is an established mental health group practice looking to hire a credentialing specialist.  Credentialing work is 50% of the job while the other 50% is encompassed with varied administrative duties.  We’re looking for an energetic professional who can multi-task and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Primary Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Process therapist’s accreditation, managed care, governmental & commercial insurance credentialing and re-credentialing.
  • Inputs & updates provider credential databases of CAQH, PECOS, & NPPES
  • Credentialing of clinical staff with health insurance plans
  • Verifying insurance benefits.
  • Assists with marketing and public relations
  • Completes provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications; monitors applications and follows-up as needed
  • Maintains knowledge of current health plan and agency requirements for credentialing providers.
  • Audits health plan directories for current and accurate provider information.
  • Updates therapist’s information in hospital information systems, respond to verification requests, and perform file audit.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative role at a healthcare practice (medical, dental, psychology)
  • Knowledge of commercial healthcare insurance or government contracts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A minimum of 2 years Credentialing experience in a medical office
  • Experience getting providers paneled with insurance companies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Quicken/QuickBooks
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Spanish preferred
  • Strong organization and leadership skills
